He/Him

Knox County

It was important for me to do this project because we need more visibility. And we need projects like this to mark how we are thinking at this time in our country and the state. The youth needs to see this and see folks talking about their stories and their narratives and how that can relate to them. That they arent alone. The whole project, we exist, we do exist.

"As a professional, you know that’s a little hard too cause you kinda gotta watch who you come out to, especially now, because I mean hell fire, it’s almost illegal to be who you are right now, especially if youre trans. You kinda have to watch who you tell. And it’s not that you’re hiding it, it’s not that, you just don’t know who is gonna try to screw you over because you are who you are.  especially "

"What’s funny about Kentucky folk is that we, a lot of us, are prideful in ourselves. I very much feel that. We are all different, but I am very proud of who I am. I don’t hide it. But it’s tough when you grow up in Eastern Kentucky."
